We believe this was due to an outage with the payment processor paypal. We believe this has been resolved. Please let us know if you have any additional instances of this happening.

Avalaneboutique - reporting this same thing. Customer paid via PayPal. Customer was charged but the order wasn't created.

Ivory-gem reporting this same issue. Her customer paid via PayPal. Customer was charged but the orders wasn't created. Inventory logs show it expired the same minute as the charge was created but no order was
