Once we enter our min shipping rate, we have the ability to add additional fee. I think this fee should be charged by oz not per item and after 16 oz the system should automatically convert the customer over to priority shipping so they pay that rate at checkout. This helps for those of us that offer first class as well.

I am a store that sells items as light as 5 oz to large packages that weigh 21 lbs. Its really frustrating when the shipping is per item and either im ending up refunding money or loosing money because shipping is inconsistent. I wish CS would be able to calculate based on size and weight and give options to the customer to choose their method of shipping and show the exact cost of shipping. I had many complaints for the shipping costs are too high. Shopify allows integration for exact shipping based on size, weight, shipping carrier, and location and I wish CS had it as well

YES ! this is completely ridiculous with constant rising costs...and items weighing all different weights.....the customer should be charged based on weight not the way it is now....someone is loosing $ me OR the customer....I can not believe this is STILL the way it is set up...what is the point of putting in all the weights in the products for it not to just merge with their shipping cost UGHHHHHHHHHHH I feel that I am further ahead just getting a flea market booth for the weekend rather then pay 49.95 a month I am disappointed right now.....took almost a year off from the website and I was all hyped up to get started making US both $ again.... until I chatted to get info on setting up weights for shipping....I always offered a flat $8 shipping but with shipping prices through the roof...that is not an option for me. so yeah yeah I know just raise the price and set up a variable shipping cost.....Which is CRAZY too...a bottle of nail polish vs a heavy box of bath bombs 1.00 extra per item.....here we go with loosing more money on my end. please please get it together I want to sell sell sell and NOT LOOSE $ or rip off my customers ! ! 71 votes and NOTHING fixed yet......

This option would allow for CommentSold to expand their customer base to shops that sell larger items and not only clothing and jewelry.

This would be super helpful! This is how I had my shipping set up in Shopify, and now that I have made the switch to Comment Sold, I am having to give back store credit for shipping overages. I feel an accurate shipping by weight would increase sales. Thanks for considering!

Total cart weight is 1 pound and under shipping cost $5 and then if the total cart weight is 5 points and under shipping is $10.

I would like to be able to add an ADDITIONAL shipping charge to certain larger items. I thought that is what the shipping charge box was for on items, but I learned the hard way that that shipping charge overrides your flat rate. I would like the flat rate for an order and then when I have heavier/larger items, I can add an additional charge just for those items. This way, I can mark those items so customers know there is an additional shipping fee instead of just the flat rate.
